Classroom Pirates is a team-based review game where students answer questions and choose squares on the game board to earn rewards, lose points, or trigger special events.
The goal is simple: earn as many points as possible for your team!
The board contains 36 squares arranged in a 6 × 6 grid.
Each square hides a random event.
Choose a square to discover what is hidden underneath.
Choosing a square can trigger one of several different rewards. Some rewards give points, while others can change the scores of the teams.
Coins give the current team 1–5 points.
The more coins you receive, the more points your team earns.
A broken ship means the team loses points.
The team can lose between 1–3 points.
Finding treasure gives the current team 6 points.
Treasure is rarer than ordinary coins, making it a valuable reward.
A fight allows the current team to challenge another team.
The two teams choose who wins the fight. The winning team then receives a special effect.
Possible fight effects include:
A reset sets every team's score to 0. This is a very rare event and can completely change the game.
Classroom Pirates isn't only about answering questions. Students also have to deal with the unpredictable rewards.
Because the rewards are hidden, every square is a gamble!
Classroom Pirates can use custom lesson packs created specifically for the game.
A lesson pack can contain customized:
